There are many online companies that allow you to order business cards. You can upload your own design or choose a template and then customize it. You can also design your card online. Previously, you would have to wait for several weeks while the cards were printed and mailed to you. Now you can design the cards online and print them right at home if you have the right printer and card stock.

Instructions
things you'll need:
- Inkjet or laser printer
- Card stock
- 1Go to the website of an online business card company. There are many to choose from, such as BizCardCreator, BusinessCardland or Avery, the company that makes labels and card paper.
- 2Find the business card creator section. If you go to a website specifically for business cards, a link will probably be on the main page. On the Avery website, go to Templates & Software, then Software, then Avery Design & Print Online.
- 3Choose a template or start with a blank design. Many business card creators have layouts, color scheme and fonts to help you create the most professional looking cards. You gain the benefits of a professional design without having to pay for one if you use a template. If you have specific graphics and a design in mind, you can start with a blank template and then upload images, change fonts and choose your colors.
- 4Design your card. Upload and add your business logo, type in your business name and contact information and apply any font or text color changes. When your business card is complete, save it.
- 5Print your cards. Make sure that your printer is connected to your computer and on. Insert business card paper into the paper tray. Depending on which website you use, you may only need to hit the "Print" button on the website to send your file to your printer. In other cases, you will download your card in a PDF file, open it in Adobe Reader and then send it to the printer using the Print command under the File menu. You can use the Print Preview feature to see how your cards will look before printing. Once printed, allow them to dry for several minutes before touching to make sure the ink doesn't smear.
